Beginning May 1, 2025, private Missouri employers must provide paid sick leave. This new law impacts how employees earn and use sick time.
Applies to all private employers in Missouri
Employees earn 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked
Effective May 1, 2025
Employers should update their policies and payroll systems to track accrual and ensure compliance by the May 1 deadline.
